Waltman Winter Wedding

February 8th was a day I will never forget! Simon and Kim were GLOWING with happiness and joy on their wedding day! Kim looked STUNNING in her beautiful wedding dress and fur shawl! To see everything come together so nicely was so surreal. Even though it was wicked cold, we still were able to get a few outdoor portraits!

As I was driving to Rice Creek the morning of their big day, I felt this huge amount of joy that I was able to work with Simon and Kim over the last couple of months. Kim reached out to me in September and told me that they wanted to have a wedding already in February. I was a little bit worried about how fast the turn around time would be but I quickly realized if anyone could accomplish it, that it would be Simon and Kim. We had so much fun at their fall engagement shoot and also were able to sneak in a few winter pictures just a few weeks ago!

One of my favorite parts of their day was their ceremony. I haven’t seen a church so full for a wedding in a long time which was so awesome to witness. Seeing the two of them constantly smiling as they stood in front of the congregation was one of the best moments of the day.

Rice Creek looked like KIM’S DREAM reception space. Spruced Up Decorating Company brought her vision to life in ways she never thought were possible. There are truly no words to describe how gorgeous and how much hard work they put into making Simon and Kim’s reception space look absolutely stunning. Pierz floral did an amazing job as always with the flowers and Theresa did an awesome job on her hair and makeup.

I am so honored that I was able to capture their special day. I am even more excited about the new friendship I formed with the two of them that I am so grateful for. I am beyond excited to capture so many more memories and milestones in their life!
